Joint Conference

What makes a great keynote speech?

At Adaptive Challenge Consulting we believe there are several key elements to a great keynote.

  1. Understanding the audience - When crafting a keynote we explore who is in attendance? What are the shared cultural touchstones of the group? Finally, what intersecting identities will be present among attendees?

  2. Being real - Authenticity is the best approach, and we bring it each time. It isn’t always easy, but we work to get comfortable with discussions that are sometimes uncomfortable.

  3. Using Humor - Personality translates to audiences. Our two primary keynote speakers not only hold doctoral degrees, but has hosted a radio show and the other one was an improvisational comedian. People learn best when they’re laughing.
